My name is Glenn Rawls. I live in Central New York and 23 dogs - 20 of which are huskies. My Husky Family began in 2006 when I bought my first Siberian Keno. Since that first purchase, I guess you can say it's been quite an obsession of mine. In fact, my goal is to finish the Iditarod in Alaska with my team.
After spending 5 tours overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan, I needed something to keep my imagination occupied. My Heritage Siberian Husky Dog Sled Team did just that. While training my team I have taken in several rescues, in 2011 I decided to register as an official Husky Rescue. We are always looking for good homes to place our rescues.
If you ever come to the town of Hannibal, be sure to ask for the Siberian Husky Guy - it's become my nickname with all the neighbors ever since I ran a small part of the team during the fall of 2009.
